Boudoir on Jets – Byron

The wind was whipping around so fast at the Byron Airport out in the Delta, I am surprised the jets didn’t just fly away on their own. A crew of us went out there to capture images of women on airplanes that were parked in a field. Cory Lovell was kind to not only let us use his Russian Sukhoi, but he also set up the shoot for us. We had patient and bold models from the Bay Area and Sacramento who froze while Shelly Waldman, Sara Atkins and I did the photo shoot. Cameron Liu also came out to lend a hand — it was probably the most challenging time I have ever seen someone try to hold a reflector – the wind had it flying around like crazy. It was not a day without challenges, but what good things in life come easy? No pain, no gain, they say. It was worth it, and a lot of fun!
